Introducing a new LM microscope adapter for Leica stereo microscopes: seamlessly connect mirrorless system cameras and digital SLRs to your microscope

The latest mirrorless system cameras come equipped with full-frame sensors that are extremely light-sensitive, capturing images and video recordings with outstanding resolution and an extensive dynamic range. This makes them significantly more powerful than standard C-mount microscope cameras.

To unlock the full potential of these advanced sensors, we have developed a new adapter solution with integrated optics for Leica stereo microscopes equipped with a phototube.

This LM adapter offers superior optical excellence, and thanks to its larger lens diameter, its light gathering power is significantly higher than that of similar products. Featuring a compact design, the adapter has a built-in wide-angle lens that enables the camera to capture a large field of view without any vignetting. Additionally, it can be focused to align the focus of the image observed through the eyepieces with that of the image the camera sees through the phototube. The adapter features a modular design and therefore can be customized and expanded to meet specific needs, including the option to add a filter holder for integrating optical filters directly into the setup.
