Plastic component under the LM macroscope

These colorful plastic beads were taken in polarized light at about 20x microscope magnification, ISO 100. The large dynamic range of the Sony Alpha 9 II facilitates color representation and small differences can be displayed better.

Especially on the microscope and macroscope, controlling the camera from a PC/Mac or tablet is very practical and recommended. The software Imaging Edge Remote, Viewer and Edit play a major role at Sony, especially in the desktop version. With this software you can control the camera, make important settings and trigger. The images can be saved directly to the hard drive and then edited. Large data volumes are therefore not a problem.
