Performance features and advantages of LM digital adapters
Our LM digital adapters are manufactured in Austria using the most up-to-date production methods. The assembly of optical elements is performed by hand, ensuring precise single piece production.
As we place a great deal of value on high quality standards and durability, we exclusively use CNC machined aircraft-grade aluminium or brass parts and optical components of the highest quality. Each LM digital adapter is adjusted to the respective sensor size of the camera, and an optimised focal length shortens the construction of the adapters. High-grade optical glasses with complex hard-coatings make it possible to achieve excellent contrast and focus.
The surface layer, applied by hard anodisation, makes the adapter surface extremely wear resistant.
As a result of high-grade mechanical and optical materials, the optics feature excellent aperture characteristics. This makes the adapters ideally suited for low illumination methods (e.g. fluorescence, confocal, phase contrast, interference and polarisation microscopy). The LM digital adapters also offer excellent reflection protection in the form of a highly anti-reflective “optical thread” in the free optical path.
Through the unique advantage of having production and distribution facilities at one location, we are able to guarantee excellent service and optimum advice.
