LM clamping ring part no. KRSPT for stable and secure attachment of an LM DSLR adapter to an Olympus microscope equipped with a phototube with a 38 mm diameter dovetail ring.

To connect an older Olympus microscope to an existing Olympus OM Photomicro L adapter, the grey lacquered part is taken off and the internal NFK projective lens, which is no longer needed, is removed from the black anodised base part. In place of the grey lacquered part at the top, the KRSPT clamping ring and the LM Digital SLR tube adapter are placed in the clamping ring with the microscope tube below it and fixed in place using the clamping ring’s knurled screw.
