Conversion kit for connecting a digital camera to an Olympus microscope equipped with a phototube with a 38 mm dovetail ring by means of an LM digital SLR adapter and LM clamping ring

The LM clamping ring was developed for the purpose of establishing a universal, stable connection to our tube adapter with older Olympus microscopes.

To connect an older Olympus microscope to an existing Olympus OM Photomicro L adapter, the grey lacquered part is taken off and the internal NFK projective lens, which is no longer needed, is removed from the black anodised base part. In place of the grey lacquered part at the top, the KRSPT clamping ring and the LM Digital SLR tube adapter are placed in the clamping ring with the microscope tube below it and fixed in place using the clamping ring’s knurled screw.
