Universal connection for all established digital single-lens reflex cameras for Nikon microscopes with V-T phototube

Nikon stereomicroscopes and Nikon microscopes with fixed V-T phototubes attached to them were primarily designed to incorporate an analog microflex film camera or for commercial TV cameras with C-mount connections. Either an original Nikon CF projection lens (PL 2x, 2.5x, 4x, 5x) or a Nikon inverted lens “Relaylens 1x I” was used. Unfortunately, however, these variants are very restricted when it comes to connecting a normal digital SLR camera.

For these Nikon microscopes we offer a special LM digital SLR adapter with integrated hard-coated precision optics, including an original T2 adapter for all models of digital SLR cameras.

For further information and prices see our database. Please select a camera model and a microscope connection "Nikon Microscopes with V-T phototube".

Assembly is simple. Just insert our LM digital SLR adapter, with the attached digital SLR camera, into the V-T tube and secure it with a knurled screw. A possible analog microflex photographic unit is also removed; then the LM digital SLR adapter is inserted into the V-T tube and secured with a knurled screw.

Nikon models with a trinocular tube and fixed V-T phototube (V-T phototube cannot be removed):
Inverted Mikroscope TMS-F, Stereoscopic Zoom Microscopes SMZ-2T, SMZ-U

Nikon stereo microscopes and Nikon microscopes with a non-fixed, removable V-T phototube can easily be prepared for an LM digital SLR adapter with a C-mount thread. The V-T phototube is simply removed after loosening the three small Allen set screws on the phototube adapter, as shown in the picture below:

In its place, the #TUST38C tubus husk with C-mount thread is inserted in the remaining 38mm phototube adapter and is secured using the three small Allen set screws. The LM digital SLR adapter with C-mount thread and attached digital SLR camera is then screwed on.

For further information and prices see our database. Please select a camera model and a microscope connection  "Tubes with 38 mm inside diameter".
