All phototubes with a C-mount connection and a factor of 1x are ideally suited for C-mount video cameras with a sensor diagonal of 16 mm and for all LM digital adapters with C-mount connections. This sensor size is optimally illuminated and exhibits no peripheral darkening.

From the visible image circle, the largest possible rectangle is illuminated on the sensor chip.

It is essential that the C-mount connection has a factor of 1x and does not have any inbuilt optics.

FAQ: I use an LM digital adapter with a C-mount connection on a microscope with a phototube and C-mount port connection with a factor of 0.5x (or 0.3x or 0.63x).
