This reasonably priced educational and laboratory microscope can be transformed into a photographic workstation using the LM digital SLR adapter in just a few seconds.
In terms of their price/performance ratio, modern digital SLR cameras are unbeatable, delivering high-quality photographic and video material. With the camera already mounted to it, the LM digital SLR adapter is simply attached to the phototube with a C-mount thread (P95-C 2/3" 0.65x Zeiss, part no. 415500-1810-0000).
We have set up a database to help you select the optimum camera for use with a microscope. For optical reasons, only digital SLR cameras with a digital half format or Four Thirds sensor can be used with this microscope (C-mount with a factor of 0.65x).
Cameras with a full format sensor chip (36 mm x 24 mm) cannot be used with this instrument, as this will produce slight peripheral darkening (vignetting).
