Easy as pie: converting your digital SLR camera to a microscope with the two new LM DSLR 16x and 26x macro lenses!
Building on our two 40 mm and 80 mm macro lenses, which have been available since 2007, we have now developed two new, particularly powerful macro lenses for digital SLR cameras. The centric optical path, combined with the – for Micro Tech Lab – customary high-quality optical components (planapochromatic optics), delivers top-quality images of the very smallest microscopic structures.
Uncompromisingly optimised to performance, the two LM DSLR 16x and 26x macro lenses are particularly attractive for the professional environment. In the fields of quality assurance, materials research and medical research laboratories, conventional microscopes (Greenough and telescope type) quickly reach their limits when it comes to photographic documentation. However, with our LM DSLR 16x and 26x macro lenses it is possible to obtain the top-quality images needed for demanding tasks.
The two LM DSLR 16x and 26x macro lenses respectively offer 16x/26x microscope magnification (magnification equivalent of a microscope, composed of an eyepiece and a objective). As is the case with a microscope, there are no automatic functions. To increase the depth of field, the aperture is set manually to a range between 2.8 and 16 using a large lever.
The two lenses can magnify so strongly that it is advisable to use a special stand in order to be able to work effectively. Effective immediately, the two new lenses are available individually or as a set with the appropriate stand and accessories from our online shop.
