High-quality photographic and HD video documentation with the reasonably priced Olympus SZ61 and Zeiss Primo Star microscopes
It is definitely possible to produce high-quality photographs and HD video sequences with reasonably priced microscopes!
Combined with modern digital SLR cameras, our LM SLR adapters offer an unbeatable price/performance ratio when compared with USB2 cameras, especially since the image quality of digital SLR cameras is generally superior to that of USB2 cameras. An additional advantage of newer digital SLR cameras is that they even support video recording in full HD mode, and can be controlled and operated from your computer.
Described below are simple ways of converting your digital SLR camera for use with two value-for-money microscopes:

|
Converting the Olympus SZ61 zoom stereo microscope The Olympus SZ61 boasts excellent build quality and has a zoom range of 0.67x to 4.5x. The manufacturer offers the instrument with its own integrated camera connection (SZ61-TR). All you need to do is screw the LM SLR adapter (already mounted to the digital SLR camera) onto the microscope’s phototube (C-mount connection). The microscope is now ready for photographic use and video recording! Further information |
