Can LM digital adapters for compact or video cameras be converted for use with DSLR cameras?
No,
as the two LM digital adapter series differ fundamentally in their
optical design. In addition, they have completely different focal
lengths. In contrast to digital SLR cameras, the camera lenses of
compact cameras and camcorders cannot be removed. Therefore, with SLR
cameras, the LM digital adapter is attached directly to the camera body
by means of bayonets, enabling the microscopic image to be directly
projected from the LM digital adapter onto the sensor chip.
